Job Description

As the Assistant Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue and maximizing sales opportunities for both restaurant events across all three outlet venues-

1.UB City

2.Manyata

3.Embassy One, Mekhri Circle

Primary focus will be on confirming events across all three outlets, building corporate relationships, and converting the same to meet and exceed revenue targets. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering revenue.

1.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals for restaurant events.

2.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.

3.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences to ensure repeat business and referrals.

4.Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and event orders to clients, negotiating terms and pricing to secure bookings.

5.Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to create customized menus

6.Conduct site tours and tastings to showcase venue capabilities and offerings to potential clients.

7.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

8.Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and online presence to enhance visibility and attract potential clients.

9.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue projections using CRM software.

10.Provide monthly reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities

Qualifications:

Hotel and Corporate background preferred.

Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry with a focus on banquets and restaurants.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
