Assistant Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, prepare offers and conduct negotiations with these customers.
• Managing defined clients in accordance with the company's sales strategies, developingan intensive relationship with these customers, doing follow-up with them, doing price negotiations, etc.
• Handling (or supervision of handling) of request for quotes
• Coordinate the exact product specification of the various cable assemblies andharnesses to make sure that production can be affected according to the customersrequirements.
• Understand and discuss the technical requirements with the customer.
• Solving problems regarding pricing, determining conditions and special arrangements
• Pass on orders as well as prices and conditions agreed on to the logistics department in a structured and unambiguous way. Check whether the all the commercial condition agreed on reflect in the SAP master data and in the SAP, customer orders.
• Work out sales documents, price lists, etc.
• Regular Payment follow ups and on time collection as per CCC.
• Audit related activities to maintain the records and coordination internal and external.
• Maintaining and tracking the daily, monthly, quarterly reports with values and volumefor sales deviation comments /sales plan/forecast and for management reviews time to time.
• Internal coordination with the selling margin on regular basis to submit the offer on time to converting the orders/ any complaints/ escalation.
• Regular Coordinate and follow-up with our customers for rolling forecast for material and production planning.
• Frequently travel to our customers throughout PAN India based on the customer and our needs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Cable, connectors, and Wiring Harness background.
• Prior experience in cable assembly and cable harness is essential.
• Good understanding of electro mechanical components (cables/connectors/over molding/diecasting etc.)
