Assistant Restaurant Manager / Shift Manager

Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Management: Assisting in managing the day-to-day activities of the restaurant, ensuring efficient workflow and service delivery.  Staff Management: Training and supervising staff, managing schedules, and ensuring adequate staffing levels.  Customer Service: Addressing customer complaints, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring positive customer experiences.  Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.  Sales and Performance: Analyzing sales data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to boost sales.  Maintaining Cleanliness and Safety: Ensuring the restaurant is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards.  Assisting with Marketing Efforts: Supporting the implementation of marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and its offerings.  Shift Management: Taking charge of the restaurant during designated shifts, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company procedures.  Cost Control: Assisting in managing operational costs, including labour, food, and supplies.  Key Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in restaurant operations, particularly in a QSR environment. Ability to handle customer interactions and resolve complaints effectively. Knowledge of inventory management and cost control. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic computer skills for reporting and data analysis.
