Assistant Quality Manager

As the Assistant Quality Manager at Jabalpur Hospital & Research Centre, your main responsibility is to support the implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of the hospital's quality management systems to align with NABH standards and internal benchmarks. This will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Your key duties will include assisting in the development and execution of NABH and other quality accreditation standards, ensuring compliance with hospital-wide SOPs, and aiding in the preparation of quality manuals, policy documents, and standard operating procedures. Additionally, you will be involved in planning and conducting internal quality audits, identifying non-conformities, and maintaining audit documentation. Another crucial aspect of your role will be data management and reporting, which involves collecting, analyzing, and compiling quality indicators and patient safety data. You will be responsible for preparing monthly quality dashboards, supporting departments in KPI monitoring, and facilitating training sessions for staff on quality and patient safety policies. Furthermore, you will play a role in patient safety and risk management by monitoring incident reporting systems, participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and assisting in infection control practices. Your liaison with clinical, nursing, and administrative teams will ensure compliance with standards and the maintenance of quality records and accreditation-related documentation. To qualify for this position, you should hold a graduate degree in any stream (Science/Healthcare preferred) and a Master's Degree in Hospital Administration, Health Management, or Quality Management. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hospital quality management systems and familiarity with NABH guidelines is required. Proficiency in MS Office tools, strong analytical skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential competencies for this role.
