Assistant QS and Estimation (Interior)

As an Assistant QS & Estimation in our Central Cost Team, you will play a crucial role in managing commercial interior fitout projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Budget Preparations: Conducting site visits for due diligence and preparing budgetary estimates for new projects. - Cost Management: Planning and monitoring costs throughout the project life cycle. - Detailed BOQs and Tender Preparations: Ensuring accurate bill of quantities based on final design compliance with specifications. - Client Coordination: Handling end-to-end client communications related to commercial management of projects. - Procurement Coordination: Supporting procurement activities, assisting with Bill of Materials, and ensuring timely delivery. - Variation Analysis: Preparing variation statements, identifying variations, and understanding item specifications. - Billing: Preparing and submitting project bills, as well as maintaining vendor billing certification for financial closure. - People Management: Managing all people and their project-related problems, both internal and external. Requirements for this role include: - Experience: 0-3 years as a QS professional with excellent communication and team management skills. - Knowledge: Understanding of market rates for interior fitouts, subcontractor categories, and measurement modes. - Education: Diploma/Degree in relevant field of Engineering or a relevant discipline from recognized universities. Additionally, preferred qualifications include exposure to SAP or any ERP related to the Interior industry.
