Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting seminars, and mentoring students in the field of Computer Science. Key responsibilities include developing and updating curriculum, conducting high-quality research, guiding student projects, and engaging in administrative duties as required by the department. The role also involves fostering research collaborations and maintaining active participation in academic conferences and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A strong foundation in core areas of Computer Science, including theoretical and applied concepts.
• Specialized expertise in fields such as Data Science, Cybersecurity, or Programming, with the ability to teach and mentor in these areas.
• Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing and updating course materials aligned with industry standards.
• Demonstrated academic research capabilities, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences.
• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is required. Candidates with demonstrated teaching effectiveness and prior experience in higher education are strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a collaborative attitude toward teaching and research.
• Prior experience with interdisciplinary approaches or research projects is advantageous.
