Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our academic faculty as an Assistant Professor Mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, engaging in academic research, and contributing to the development of the department and institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching:

* Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mathematics, covering a variety of topics such as Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Real Analysis.

* Develop, review, and update course materials, syllabi, and instructional resources.

* Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, seminars, and tutorials.

* Provide timely feedback on assignments, projects, and exams.

* Assist students with academic guidance, mentoring, and support.

Research:

* Conduct independent and collaborative research in areas of Mathematics, contributing to academic advancements in the field.

* Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.

* Guide and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.

Administrative & Academic Development:

* Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and conferences.

* Contribute to curriculum development and review processes.

* Engage in departmental and institutional committees as required.

* Support the department in its academic and administrative tasks.

Student Engagement:

* Encourage student participation in extra-curricular activities related to Mathematics (e.g., math clubs, competitions).

* Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students.

Continuous Learning:

* Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Mathematics and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

* Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics or a relevant field from a recognized university.

* A Ph.D. in Mathematics is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience:

* A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized educational institution, preferably in a Mathematics department.

* Experience in designing and delivering lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Skills & Competencies:

*Strong knowledge of core areas of Mathematics.

* Proficiency in the use of modern teaching tools and technology (e.g., digital learning platforms, mathematical software).

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Strong research capabilities and academic writing skills.
