Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Continuously enrich the deliverables on learning aims of the curriculum for postgraduate programs (MBA/PGDM).
  • Guide, lead, and mentor students in research projects, dissertations, and live projects. Evaluate, monitor, and mentor students’ academic progress.
  • Create, innovate, and implement career-enhancement programs and activities. Assess, review, and evaluate student activities and progress.
  • Be instrumental in helping students secure career opportunities in areas of Marketing.
  • Be instrumental in challenging the way students think, learn, and develop their understanding of academic disciplines.
  • Develop core curriculum and deliver course material effectively with integration of industry practices.
  • Publishing research, attending conferences, and delivering presentations to build a strong research network.
  • Make the best use of tools and technologies to facilitate student understanding.
  • To undertake research, either individually or with colleagues, of a level and quality that will result in regular publication in reputed journals.
  • Writing proposals to secure research funding.
  • Organizing seminars, workshops, and events to interact with established industry professionals. Review teaching methods and materials to make recommendations for improvement.

Profile:

  • Demonstrated interest and competence in establishing courses and teaching at the postgraduate level.
  • Strong desire to publish in reputed journals with the possibility to get outside funding for research initiatives.
  • Ph.D. in Marketing or related areas from a recognized institution (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience & proven track record in teaching to contribute to PG/UG courses in Marketing, including supervision of student projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Marketing is mandatory.
  • Great interpersonal skills with an effective understanding of pedagogical tools and processes.
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate with peers.


Qualifications:

Assistant Professor:

- Doctoral degree in Marketing or related areas from a recognized institution (preferred).

- Master’s degree in Marketing or Management specialization with at least 55% marks (mandatory).

- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in Marketing. Associate Professor:

- Minimum 8 years of teaching and research experience with renowned institutions as an Assistant Professor.

- Minimum 7 research publications in highly reputed journals.


Professor:

- Minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience with renowned institutions as a full-time faculty.

- Minimum 10 research publications in highly reputed journals.


Eligibility:

  • A good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines (preferred).
  • A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in Marketing.
