Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Jaipur for an Assistant Professor in Journalism and Mass Communication. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching courses in journalism, media studies, and broadcasting. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and delivering lectures, mentoring students, conducting research, and participating in departmental meetings and activities. The role also involves developing course materials, assessing student performance, and staying updated with industry trends. Collaboration with colleagues and contributing to the overall growth of the department is also expected.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Broadcast Journalism and Broadcasting
• Knowledge of Multimedia and its applications in journalism
• Strong skills in Journalism and Writing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to mentor and guide students effectively
• A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field
• Previous teaching or industry experience is advantageous
