Position Overview

We are seeking a committed and academically driven Assistant Professor (IT/CS) to join our institution. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and a genuine passion for mentoring students. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding student projects, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting departmental academic activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline
• (M.Tech / MCA / B.Tech with relevant experience)
• PhD preferred (not mandatory)

• UGC-NET qualification preferred
• Minimum 2–4 years of teaching or academic experience
• Experience in student mentoring, academic coordination, or curriculum development will be an added advantage Technical Expertise.
• (Must Be Able to Teach the Following Subjects):
• Numerical Methods
• Theory of Computation
• Advanced Web Technology
• Data Communication & Networks
• Operating Systems
• UNIX with Shell Programming

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching for UG and PG courses
• Prepare and update academic materials, including:
• Lecture notes
• Lab manuals
• Assignments and assessments
• Guide and mentor students in:
• Academic and capstone projects
• Internships
• Basic research-oriented activities
• Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records
• Assist in curriculum design and syllabus updates
• Participate in academic events such as seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs
• Support departmental coordination and institutional academic initiatives
• Maintain academic standards and ensure compliance with institutional guidelines

Work Schedule

• Days: Monday to Saturday
• Shift: Day Shift
• Weekend Availability: As required for academic events and activities
• Mode: On-site (mandatory)

Education Requirements:

• Master’s degree (mandatory)
• PhD (preferred)

Experience Requirements

• 2–4 years of teaching/academic experience
• Experience in project guidance, mentoring, or departmental support preferred

Language Requirement

• Proficiency in English (preferred)
