Job Description

Role Overview: You will be working as an Assistant Professor in the Aviation Department, specializing in Aviation and Airport Management. Your main responsibility will be to deliver lectures and practical sessions in subjects related to Aviation, Airline, and Airport Management. Additionally, you will design and update the curriculum, prepare teaching materials, guide students in academic projects, and organize workshops and industry interactions. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver lectures and practical sessions in subjects related to Aviation, Airline, and Airport Management. - Design and update curriculum in line with industry standards and academic requirements. - Prepare teaching materials, case studies, and assessments for undergraduate programs. - Guide students in academic projects, research, and internships. - Organize workshops, industry interactions, field visits, and guest lectures. - Participate in faculty development programs, conferences, and seminars. - Contribute to department planning, academic reviews, and quality assurance. - Support in student counseling and mentoring for career development. - Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors and masters degree in aviation management, Airport Management, or related field (UGC-recognized). - Minimum 2 years of teaching or relevant aviation industry experience (maximum 5 years preferred). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Strong classroom management and presentation skills. - Proficient in MS Office tools and basic digital teaching platforms. - Passion for teaching and mentoring students. Desirable: - NET/SET qualified (if applicable). - Experience in NAAC/NBA documentation will be an added advantage. - Exposure to airline operations, airport procedures, or ground handling. - Strong industry network and guest lecture coordination experience.
