Lachoo Memorial College, Jodhpur, is seeking a dynamic academician for Computer Science department, Faculty of Engineering. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with strong academic background and academic skills who can exhibit skills with impact and drive strategic academic growth through innovative practices.

Academic Responsibilities:

1.       To deliver lectures, Seminars and Tutorials

2.       Design, prepare and develop courses, modules and teaching materials

3.       Develop e-teaching materials

4.       Develop and implement new methods of teaching to reflect changes in research and academics

5.       Assess students work

6.       Maintain teacher’s diary, mentorship record, course file, practical records, weak students record and other important documents as assigned by senior authorities/Management.

7.       Supervise students, research activities, students’ projects etc.

8.       Support students through advisory role

9.       Undertake individual and collaborative research projects for publication

10.     Research, develop and prepare proposals to attract external funding to your department

11.     Carry out administrative task such as student admissions, induction programms and active involvement in committees and boards.

12.     Establish collaborative links with other institutes, research and public organizations for academic growth.

13.     Participate in staff training programs

14.     Organize value added courses, workshops and training programs for students

15.     Promote Lachoo College in external groups

16.     Perform branding activities

17.     Active involvement in ensuring 100% admissions.

Executive and Administrative Responsibilities

1.      To be directly responsible to the Director, Engineering of the Lachoo College.

2.      To lead department within the policy framework developed / directed.

3.      To assist in the completion of administrative details and tasks required to maintain an efficient operational pattern for the Faculty.

4.      To Maintain all records pertaining to students and department.

Research & Development Responsibilities:

1.      To Manage effectively and efficiently the research programs.

2.      To Create an academic environment conducive to intellectual and research growth.

3.      To Maintain the confidence and co-operation of the faculty and students engaged in academic activities.

4.      To Identify opportunities for externally funded R&D projects, apply for funding, submit project proposals, follow up with the funding agencies, for securing sanction of projects.

5.      To Identify external facilities where part of research activities, prototype development can be carried out; enter Into MoU with such organizations.

6.      To Ensure that the lab facilities and other installations and capital equipment’s are used optimally.
