Job Description

Title: Asst. Product Manager Industrial Electric Actuation

Experience: 8-12 years

Qualification: BTech/BE/MTech/ME

Job Summary (Areas of Responsibility)

Act as global champion for the assigned product or product line, with the goal of optimizing its position within companys market offerings and maximizing the value created for the company.

  • •  Screen/initiate development or partnership opportunities related to extension/expansion of product line
  • •  Collection of market data to ensure product line alignment with customer needs and the global BII sales organization
  • •  Prepare monthly new product development executive summary and project report
  • •  Supporting product management in managing and guiding a product through its entire life
  • •  Liaison with BII product management teams. Align on the product roadmap and strategy
  • •  Act as information clearinghouse for product line information
  • •  Develop and oversee sales training on product line
  • •  Work with Operations for technical support requirements on the product line
  • •  Prepare field notices for product news and coordinate through Global Marketing Team
  • •  Conduct annual product review and develop strategy recommendations
  • •  Prepare quarterly and annual sales and profit targets and analysis by region
  • •  Coordinate with Engineering / R&D on New Product Development Initiatives to deliver
    quick to market
  • •  Develop product pricing and positioning strategy in coordination with BII product
    management
  • •  Support product launches working with BII product management team
  • •  Work closely with marketing in creating and maintain up to date product collateral

  • •  Basic understanding of valves and actuator products
  • •  Good connection with the customer base and influence in the industry
  • •  Proven track record in strategizing and bringing a product to the market
  • •  Completely at ease operating within a culturally-diverse work environment
  • •  Able to and at ease traveling globally as a routine matter of business
