Job Description

  • Ensuring compliance as per security and transport policy
  • Assuring no incidence of breach by security
  • Staff duty allocation and optimum utilization of manpower
  • Deployment of drivers in the most effective manner
  • Getting assurance about the preventive maintenance of vehicles used by the hospital
  • Implementing cost control for security and transport
  • Resolving issues related to drivers if required.
  • Assuring proper disposal of segregated biomedical wastes
  • Handling all housekeeping vendors and their timely renewals
  • Coordinating for outsourced manpower and their payments
  • Rationalizing deployment of attendant and housekeeping staff
  • Checking of payments processed for outsourced staff
  • Monitoring the hygiene of F & B manpower
  • Checking the registers maintained related to linen
  • Checking proper circulation of hygienic and clean linen
  • Thorough checking of contract bills and their timely payment
  • Taking note of issues and providing ways for improvising
  • Keeping a check on the count of waste linen every month
  • Monitoring the timely sending and receiving process for laundry of linen
  • Monitoring the maintenance and working for all machinery and plant like RO, softening system, AC, water treatment etc.
  • Ensuring preventive maintenance of all the plants and machines.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of all panels, generators, plants from time to time
  • Keeping a check on the necessary certifications required for electrical and engineering maintenance
  • Providing ways in which cost and power can be optimized
  • Taking note about progress for on-going projects and renovations
  • Approval of PR raised based on cost analytical knowledge
  • Monitoring the work done by staff and improvising as per need
  • Monitoring the time taken for upliftment of any breakdown and suggesting ways for its reduction
  • Arranging team meetings from time to time for discussion regarding complaints, queries or internal issues
  • Ensuring proper allocation of outsourced manpower
  • Rationalize cost of outsourced manpower
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the hospital premises.
  • Randomly checking of cleanliness
  • Taking note of existing problems and getting them resolved at the earliest
  • To attend complaints from patients, PRO, officials etc. and coordinating with the maintenance team for redressal.
  • Observing and providing ways in which the consumption of power can be optimized
  • To ensure procurement, maintenance and renewal of all statutory documents related to general administration
  • To ensure safety and security of hospital premises
  • Verification of bills from vendors and their timely recovery
  • To ensure adequate availability of staff on regular and emergency problems
  • To meet staff members and suggest better operational methodology
  • Handling customer grievances and resolving them on timely basis
