1. Ensure compliance with all labor laws & statutory requirements (Factories Act, CLRA, ID Act, etc.) Liaise with labor authorities, factory inspectors, and government officials.
2. Strong knowledge of labor laws & IR practices. Proven ability in negotiations & conflict resolution. Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, settlements & wage agreements. Maintain harmonious industrial relations with workmen & contract labor.
3. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, manpower planning, and workforce deployment. Manage general administration including transport, security, canteen, and housekeeping.
4. Experience in handling government inspections and audits. Monitor compliance of contractors/vendors with statutory and company policies. Leadership qualities with ability to manage HR & Admin functions independently.
5. Represent the organization in conciliation, labor courts, and compliance audits. Drive initiatives to reduce absenteeism, improve productivity, and minimize disputes. Draft, review, and implement Standing Orders, IR policies, and disciplinary frameworks. Develop contingency plans for uninterrupted operations.
