Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - SCM

Roles & Responsibilities

• Drive the monthly S&OP process in collaboration with Business and Manufacturing teams.
• Conduct current and future forecast analysis based on business inputs, ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followed to continuously improve accuracy.
• Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
• Recommend adjustments to forecasts and inventory targets in response to changes in demand and market trends.
• Lead forecast and inventory planning meetings with Sales Managers to ensure optimum inventory levels.
• Control inventory by applying knowledge of inventory measures, safety stock and reorder levels.
• Monitor weekly sales (oversold and consumed demand) and take corrective actions for inventory management.
• Facilitate best practices and drive consensus among functional experts across departments.
• Manage SLOB (Slow and Obsolete) control for finished goods and materials.
• Oversee material planning across responsible business verticals.
• Lead production planning and scheduling activities to align with demand requirements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Purchase teams to create purchase requisitions (PR) for identified demand.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely supply of materials.
• Utilize SAP effectively for demand, supply and inventory planning.
• Proficiently use MS Office tools for analysis, reporting and planning.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Engineering or Science; Master s degree preferred but not mandatory.
• 5 9 years of experience in demand planning, production planning or supply chain management.
