Role Description

The Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Planning role is a full-time, on-site position located in Guwahati. The individual will manage planning and scheduling efforts to ensure on-time delivery of projects in alignment with organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with other departments and teams, resource allocation, and providing regular updates on project timelines. The professional will play a critical role in identifying potential delays and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
• Hands-on experience in project management, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
• Sound understanding of construction processes, technical drawings, and building codes.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering is required; professional certifications in project planning/management are an advantage.
