Assistant Manager - Warehouse

Role & responsibilities

• To maintain Warehouse and Finished Goods area clean and presentable for audit.
• To follow Good Documentation practices and safety instructions & ensure compliance while working in warehouse.
• Factory Local purchase of Consumables, Stationary & Consumables purchase within budgeted cost.
• Cost Savings, Monthly and Quarterly /Yearly reports to be shared based on budget vs actual.
• Receiving of Raw materials and Packing materials and Prepare Goods receipt Note (GRN)
• Arrangements of Raw material and Packing material in stores according to the status i.e Under test Approved, Rejected and Quarantine etc.
• Dispensing and issue of Raw materials and Packing materials to production and Packing department as per respective Batch manufacturing and Packing record.
• Filling the Equipment Logbooks and area logbooks and entries in Batch manufacturing and Packing record after dispensing.
• To perform the Calibration and Verification of Weighing balances.
• Ensure compliance with current Good manufacturing Practice (cGMP) in warehouse.
• Manpower handling in warehouse department.
• Physical verification of stocks as per Standard Operating procedure.
• Preparation of Standard Operating Procedure related to warehouse department.
• Handling of Damaged, Rejected and Expired materials in warehouse.
• To follow online documentation in Raw material, Packing material and Finished Goods store.
• Follow up with purchase and commercial department for disposal of nonmoving, obsolete and rejected raw and packing materials.
• Temperature mapping in Stores and Finished Goods area. Follows and supports current Good Manufacturing Practices and current Good mfg/Laboratory Practices
• Posting and Transaction of materials in SAP or ERP system.

SKILLS:

a. ERP like SAP/Navison/JDE, B2C Aggregator software like Shyplite/WareIQ etc.

b. Freight cost optimization, Warehousing cost reduction.

c. External and internal IRA (Inventory record accuracy audits) @ Plant or warehouse level

d. Having good exposure on ISO 9001-2015 & ISO 22716 requirements,
