Job Description

Since 2013, Antarang Foundation has been one of the leading voices in bringing employability and career development into the mainstream education narrative. We believe that education, which does not lead to social and economic progress, is incomplete and hence, employability and aspirational careers need to be accessible to all young adults across the socioeconomic spectrum.
Antarang Foundation builds key employability skills in disadvantaged youth in urban low-income settlements. Through two structured programs, Antarang guides students on career choice, trains them in core employability skills, and connects them to employment opportunities of their choice.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager Training and Quality will support training and program quality across all locations. While State Trainers lead implementation on the ground, the Assistant Manager works on design, research, partnerships, and strategy at the national level.

Roles and their Responsibilities

  • Lead training design aligned to program goals, facilitator needs, and partner contexts.
  • Develop and update standardised training and coaching modules, guides, and assessments to ensure high-quality delivery across all geographies
  • Support capacity building of NGO partners and internal training teams through direct training and coaching.
  • Conduct research and analyse trends from across geographies to inform training and program strategy.
  • Collaborate with Curriculum, M&E, and Program teams to ensure training is aligned with student learning goals.
  • Mentor and manage Central Training & Quality Associates, guiding their work and growth.
  • Design and execute training strategies for new partnerships and pilots
  • Create systems and processes for continuous improvement in training quality and program implementation.
  • Facilitate training workshops for government stakeholders, partners, and state teams as needed.
  • Promote Integration and Sustainability: Advocate for integration of career guidance within the education system to enable long-term adoption and impact.

Profile Requisites:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in training or teaching in a classroom setting. Excellent communication: Fluency in English
  • Good analytical, training & coaching skills and an understanding of culture.
  • Complete ease in using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the city/across cities as and when required.
  • Prior experience of managing a team of 3+ people.
