Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Electrical Design & Development

• Lead end-to-end electrical design for machines, including wiring diagrams, control panels, and system architecture.
• Develop electrical schematics using tools like E-Plan / AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ensure designs meet product performance, safety, and quality standards.
• Select appropriate components such as sensors, PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, and safety devices.

2. Automation & Machine Integration

• Lead PLC programming, HMI development, servo tuning, and automation logic implementation.
• Integrate electrical, electronics, and mechanical systems for smooth machine functionality.
• Troubleshoot automation issues during prototype development, trials, and customer installations.

3. Team Leadership & Project Management

• Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
• Allocate resources, plan timelines, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct design reviews, testing, and validation.
• Coordinate closely with mechanical design, production, service, and quality teams.

4. Compliance, Safety & Standards

• Ensure compliance with IEC standards, CE requirements, and industrial safety norms.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including BOM, panel layouts, test reports, and manuals.
• Evaluate quality of electrical assemblies and ensure adherence to QA processes.

5. Cost Optimization & Innovation

• Drive VA/VE initiatives to reduce costs while improving performance.
• Explore new technologies, components, and automation solutions for future machines.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, serviceability, and reliability.

6. Production & On-Field Support

• Provide technical support to production during assembly, wiring, and testing.
• Assist service teams with troubleshooting, field issues, and customer escalations.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring problems and implement corrective actions.

Educational Qualifications :

BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering/Diploma

Total Experience: 810 Years in Electrical Design, Automation & Machine Building.

Age: 28 to 40
