This role involves welding, fabricating, and assembling metal parts for machinery, equipment, or structures as per design specifications, ensuring high quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to execute production requirements. Set up and operate welding machines; select appropriate welding methods (MIG, Arc) based on production needs. Fabricate and assemble components to meet production targets and quality standards. Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing work to ensure proper fit and finish. Inspect welds for compliance with specifications and rectify defects when required. Maintain welding tools, machines, and workstations to reduce downtime and ensure efficiency. Follow production schedules and coordinate with supervisors for timely completion of tasks. Uphold company safety protocols and use PPE at all times. Collaborate with production and management teams to improve processes and reduce rework. Qualification : * ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or equivalent qualification. Experience in MIG/ARC welding in a manufacturing/fabrication setting. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols. Knowledge of metals, fabrication processes, and production workflows. High attention to detail, productivity focus, and commitment to quality. Physical stamina to work in demanding production environments. Preferred candidate profile * Prior work in machine manufacturing or heavy fabrication for production lines. Understanding of lean manufacturing or productivity improvement practices. Basic knowledge of fabrication measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).

Key Responsibilities Develop detailed technical drawings using CAD tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Design custom special-purpose machines considering performance, safety, and cost. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, electrical, and quality). Troubleshoot design challenges and propose effective solutions. Apply mechanical engineering principles (mechanics, dynamics, materials science). Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Support multiple projects with timely delivery and project documentation. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2-3 years of experience in machine design (SPM preferred). Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, welding, casting, etc. Basic understanding of electrical systems and automation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail, creativity, and adaptability. Experience in project management is a plus.
