Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team, specializing in special-purpose machine (SPM) design. The ideal candidate will combine technical drawing skills, mechanical engineering expertise, and a sound understanding of manufacturing processes to deliver innovative and functional machine designs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed technical drawings using CAD tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Design custom special-purpose machines considering performance, safety, and cost.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, electrical, and quality).
Troubleshoot design challenges and propose effective solutions.
Apply mechanical engineering principles (mechanics, dynamics, materials science).
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Support multiple projects with timely delivery and project documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2-3 years of experience in machine design (SPM preferred).
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, welding, casting, etc.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and automation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Attention to detail, creativity, and adaptability.
Experience in project management is a plus.
