Assistant Security Manager to join our Physical Security team. The successful candidate will assist in the management and implementation of comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and visitors to oversee all aspects of security and safety within our organization. This role involves managing surveillance and access control, vendor relations, visitor and material movement, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive security training programs. The manager will lead efforts in incident management, executive protection, and emergency preparedness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surveillance and Access Control Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of surveillance systems and access controls to ensure optimal security coverage.
- Vendor and Visitor Control: Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with security protocols. Supervise visitor registration and access to facilities. Material Movement: Monitor and regulate the movement of materials inwards and outwards, ensuring security and accountability.
- Training Capability: Develop and conduct security and safety training programs to enhance staff preparedness and awareness.
- Lost & Found Management: Establish and oversee protocols for efficiently managing lost and found items.
- Escorts Deployment: Coordinate security escorts for floor security and manage women s home drop-off and pick-up services.
- Incident Management: Lead the response and resolution of security incidents, ensuring thorough investigation and documentation.
- Parking Management: Oversee parking security and access controls, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Executive Protection: Develop and implement executive protection strategies to ensure the safety of key personnel.
- Mock Drill and Evacuation Plans: Design and execute mock drills and evacuation plans, ensuring preparedness for emergencies. ERT Leadership: Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT), coordinating efforts in medical assistance and crisis management.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and establish mitigation plans to address potential threats. Incident and Crisis Management: Lead the response to security incidents, coordinating investigations and implementing corrective actions. Ensure timely reporting and documentation of incidents.
- Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and industry standards. Prepare reports for senior management on security operations and incident reviews.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage the security budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and investment in technology. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and stakeholders to ensure quality service and compliance with security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred or any Graduation.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in physical security management in corporate office
- Course Certification in security management, such as one of the following, is highly desirable: (a) Basic Security Officer and Safety Officer (b) Associate Protection Professional (APP) (c) Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) (d) Certified Protection Professional (CPP) (e) Physical Security Professional (PSP) Proficiency in security technologies and systems, including surveillance and access controls.
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with security management software and systems.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform under pressure.
- Knowledge of current industry standards and best practices in security management.
