Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Specialist with ~5 years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution, along with excellent communication skills and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools including Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize demand planning and inventory management processes

Oversee logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery

Support Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) activities

Handle SAP billing and related system operations

Ensure compliance with EU distribution regulations including GDP and GMP standards

Collaborate with various teams, including Sales, Production, Global Logistics, Third Party Logistics providers and Customer Service, to optimize the supply chain and ensure customer satisfaction

Develop and implement EU wide 3PL performance dashboards and cost savings initiatives

Manage the relationship between 3PL and Biocon coordinating Biocon functions and managing the budget

Responsible for the EU inventory reconciliation process

Responsible for managing the Demand Planning process for the Partner Markets and ensuring efficient order fulfillment to meet customer requirements

Manage the inbounding of EU stock into the central warehouse

Coordinate sample taking and the Quality release process

Complete the stock transfer requirements from the EU hub to the regional 3PL’s

Required Skills

Knowledge of supply chain concepts

Proficiency in SAP, especially billing functions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.

Understanding of EXIM procedures and documentation.

Preferred Skills

Bachelors Degree or MBA in SCM/Operations

Knowledge of EU Distribution Compliance standards.

Familiarity with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
