QMS Engineer/Lead

Location

• Corporate Office (with travel to project sites as required).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and periodically update

  QMS Manual, QAP Plans, SOPs

  as per ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct

  internal audits

  across corporate and project sites, identify gaps, and monitor corrective actions.
• Document and maintain records of audits, trainings, MOMs, NCRs, RCAs, and present analysis to management.
• Assist in conducting

  Management Review Meetings (MRM)

  as per QMS standards.
• Develop training modules and deliver

  QMS induction, refresher, and technical training

  for employees and new joiners.
• Impart

  Internal Auditor Trainings

  and build a pool of certified internal auditors.
• Liaise with third-party agencies for

  certification, re-certification, and surveillance audits

  , ensuring readiness across functions.
• Support cross-functional teams (CFTs) in setting QMS objectives, reviewing KPIs, and Balanced Scorecards (BSC).
• Ensure monthly review meetings, progress tracking, and reporting to management.
• Support

  Business Development (BD)

  in tender documentation related to QMS.
• Assist projects in developing SOPs, QAPs, FQPs, and FQCs, ensuring timely submission of QMS documentation.
• Ensure compliance with

  QMS legal requirements

  across all project locations.
• Deliver

  Monthly Compliance Monitoring (MCM)

  by collecting and analyzing site data.
• Participate in

  incident/NCR investigations and root cause analysis (RCA)

  .
• Collect and share best practices across projects to drive continuous improvement.
• Handle any additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in

  Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Quality)

  or equivalent.

• 810 years of experience

  in Quality Management Systems, preferably in infrastructure/power/project industries.
• Strong knowledge of

  ISO 9001 standards, QMS documentation, audits, and compliance requirements

  .
• Experience in

  training delivery, audit management, and vendor/client coordination

  .
• Proficiency in MS Office and QMS-related tools/software.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
