Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) from drawings and specifications.

• Assist in tender preparation, cost planning, and budget forecasting.

• Analyze subcontractor quotations and supplier bids for cost efficiency.

• Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.

• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors on rates and terms.

• Manage procurement schedules and material quantity take-offs.

• Conduct on-site quantity measurements and verify progress claims.

• Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.

• Evaluate variations, change orders, and claims from subcontractors.

• Monitor project budgets and cost-to-complete reports.

• Prepare monthly cost and cash flow reports.

• Coordinate with the planning, engineering, and site teams.

• Attend client and consultant meetings for commercial discussions.

• Prepare progress and cost status reports for management review.

• Ensure documentation complies with company and contract standards.

• Maintain records of drawings, correspondence, and approvals.
