Job Description

As an Assistant Manager - Projects in the Supply Chain (Manufacturing) function at Nashik within India Foods Business, your primary role is to ensure the Manufacturing Facility operates efficiently throughout the year with minimal disruptions and costs. You will be responsible for leading and managing projects to meet technical and quality standards, project charters, and manufacturing requirements. Your focus will be on executing basic and detailed project designs, ensuring safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage projects to meet technical/quality performance, project charter, and manufacturing requirements. - Provide capital project estimating for cost, scheduling, and technical performance. - Execute basic and detailed design of projects based on guidelines and specifications. - Implement Improvement projects such as solutions to Capacity improvement, Debottlenecking, Efficiency Improvement. - Maintain quality standards in Equipment Selection and Execution. - Ensure safety during construction and ongoing operation. - Manage interactions with external partners, consultants, and contractors. - Support capital sourcing process and seek approvals. - Maintain records and documentation related to function. - Provide cash flow information to the Plant regarding ongoing and future projects. - Ensure implementation of all Fixed Assets and Capital Projects policies and procedures. - Work as a mentor for Manufacturing Platform teams to drive Idea Generation and Execution Excellence. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor degree in Engineering (mechanical/chemical). - 8+ years of experience with a focus on capital project execution. - Experience in plant operations and industrial environments. - Thorough understanding of food safety, human safety, and environment policies. - Project Engineering experience including scope definition, cost estimation, and tracking. - Strong technical leadership skills and analytical problem-solving abilities. - Adaptability to maneuver through uncertainty with professionalism. - Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Understanding of Food Manufacturing Regulatory Requirements, Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and Plant Maintenance Experience.,
