Assistant Manager-Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSM)-Chakan-Pune

Role Overview: You will lead complex, cross-functional sourcing projects and develop in-depth knowledge of key material market suppliers and cost infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include driving the contract and bidding management process, ensuring compliance to sourcing and contracting policies, updating supplier scorecards, addressing supplier performance issues, negotiating component costing, and negotiating commercial and contract terms with suppliers. Key Responsibilities: - Lead complex, cross-functional sourcing projects - Develop and communicate in-depth knowledge of key material market suppliers and cost infrastructure - Drive contract and bidding management process - Ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures - Maintain and update supplier scorecards, and address supplier performance issues - Negotiate and drive component costing for continuous cost reduction - Negotiate commercial and contract terms with suppliers Qualifications Required: - Bachelors in Electrical/Electronic Engineering - 8-10 years of working experience with at least 2 years in a similar or Elevator industry role - Deep understanding of strategic sourcing and procurement processes and strategies - Ability to interact and negotiate with key suppliers and internal stakeholders on key contracts and services in complex and ever-changing environments - Ability to analyze data, market trends, and supplier performance to make informed decisions - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and team members Please note that the additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.
