Assistant Manager Procurement

We are looking for a skilled professional with 3 to 9 years of experience to fill the role of Assistant Manager Procurement for a Norway-based company located in IMT Manesar, Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management.

• Handle technical analysis of price patterns and technical tool indicators to optimize procurement processes.
• Develop and implement systematic financial forecasting strategies using statistics like commodity pricing.
• Conduct research to identify the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules, and quality.
• Forecast demand levels for products to meet business needs and monitor stock levels.
• Negotiate with suppliers independently on rates, quality, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Work on raw material cost control for the Compact group.
• Prepare profitability statements considering actual overheads each month to provide clear insights to stakeholders and support future business development.
• Ensure timely processing of payments related to raw material suppliers and prepare weekly financial reports.
• Coordinate with quality and R&D departments for new developments regarding recipe specifications and cost projections, and present weekly reports on cost index technical analysis, stock reports, and payment schedules to stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in any field; relevant certifications or training programs are an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Possess strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
