Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Business Development:

  Generate new leads and convert them into long-term partnerships to expand the companys customer base.

• Service Promotion:

  Promote Navkar’s domestic rail logistics solutions to B2B customers, particularly in manufacturing, FMCG, and trading sectors.

• Client Coordination:

  Work closely with operations and customer support teams to ensure timely container placement, dispatch, and delivery.

• Market Analysis:

  Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to craft effective sales and pricing strategies.

• Negotiation & Contracting:

  Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and service agreements with clients for volume-based cargo movement.

• Customer Relationship Management:

  Address service-related queries, follow up on shipments, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Reporting:

  Prepare and present monthly sales performance reports and business forecasts to senior management.

• Logistics Planning:

  Contribute to strategic logistics planning for major routes, including Gujarat–North India, Maharashtra, and South India corridors.
