About the Role

Hyva (India) is searching for a talented and experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in fixture design, process improvements, and production optimization to drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in our manufacturing operations.Production Planning team at Pune. The role will be Responsible for daily planning and coordinating with the Sales department. Daily Production Booking in the system and preparation of the Make and Buy list from BOM. Fabrication Machine Shop Efficiency Improvement. ERP data posting responsibility.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Design and develop fixtures, jigs, and tooling to support fabrication and assembly operations.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and recommend/implement continuous improvements in productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Optimize fabrication processes such as cutting, welding, bending, and machining to improve throughput and reduce rework.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct time and motion studies, capacity planning, and process validation.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing robust fabrication processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality systems.
  

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience in fabrication and manufacturing engineering.
• Strong expertise in fixture/jig design and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Proven track record in process optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
