Assistant Manager / Manager AIF CAT II & CAT III Compliance

Role Overview: As the Compliance Officer for Category II & III Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to SEBI regulations and other legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include monitoring fund operations, preparing regulatory filings, and providing compliance support to the business teams. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations for Category II & III AIFs, including investment and reporting requirements. - Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, disclosures, and communications with regulators. - Review all marketing materials, updates, and investor communications for regulatory compliance. - Monitor fund activities, investments, and operations to ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies. - Prepare and submit periodic filings, disclosures, and reports to SEBI and other relevant authorities. - Review and vet service-related agreements, NDAs, and engagement letters for AIFs. - Manage KYC of investors and provide regular reporting on fund progress. - Oversee accounting, taxation, and related compliance audits. - Conduct periodic reviews of investments, perform risk analysis, and prepare reports. - Stay updated on SEBI regulations and guidelines affecting AIF CAT II & CAT III. - Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks associated with Category II & III AIFs. - Provide regulatory insights during fund structuring, product design, and documentation. Qualifications & Experience: - Preferred qualifications include CA, CS, LLB, or MBA (Finance/Legal/Compliance). - Possess 3+ years of overall experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience in AIF CAT II / CAT III compliance. - Strong understanding of SEBI AIF Regulations and fund regulatory framework.
