Assistant Manager - Legal

In this role, you will be responsible for managing risk, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding the organization's interests. Your key responsibilities will include: - Drafting, vetting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements such as Leases, Leave and License Agreements, Indemnity Bonds, Maintenance Agreements, and more. - Understanding legal compliances and ensuring the company's adherence to applicable legal and regulatory requirements. - Providing support in court proceedings, including vetting court documents, strategizing legal actions, and attending hearings. - Assisting in police-related matters as required. - Drafting legal documents including notices, responses, letters, undertakings, and declarations. - Maintaining databases for agreements, litigation cases, legal notices, and other statutory matters, as well as updating and managing legal trackers for efficient monitoring and reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with 6+ years of relevant in-house legal experience, including at least 2 years of litigation experience. A Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputed university is required, along with strong knowledge of legal compliances and hands-on experience in end-to-end contract management and negotiations. Additionally, willingness to travel for work-related matters is essential.
