Assistant Manager Legal

You will be responsible for providing legal support to HR, Employment functions, and verticals across geographies, globally. This includes handling labour matters, employee disputes, recovery matters, and providing support in pre-litigation, alternative dispute resolutions, and litigation management. Additionally, you will offer legal advisory support on various legal matters such as commercial or procurement contractual matters, handling criminal matters, etc. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and revise template service agreements/employment contracts, policies, and related documentation with respect to HR and employment matters - Provide legal advisory services to various HR functions on multiple portfolios such as recruitment, operations, employee policies and benefits, termination, lay offs, and exit-related matters - Offer legal advisory services related to Labour law compliance, employee disputes, communications, HR protocols, etc. - Advise/be part of inquiry and disciplinary proceedings and provide adequate support - Advise clients and stakeholders in the Company on pre-litigation, alternative dispute resolutions, negotiations, and litigation matters of commercial or labour disputes. Draft communications and liaise with external counsels, police, or regulatory authorities - Have experience in contracts drafting and review concerning commercial transactions, on a need basis Qualification Required: - PQE of 5-8 years in handling HR/employment and Labour matters and commercial contracts, litigations - Law graduate from a reputed university and qualified legal attorney, enrolled with the Bar Council of India - Prior domain experience in supporting HR and employment functions and knowledge of litigation advisory and management is a must - Legal generalist with experience working on all types of contractual and commercial matters - Prior experience of working for geos such as USA, ME, APAC is a bonus - Mix of law firm and corporate experience is preferred (Note: No additional details of the company were mentioned in the job description),
