Job Description

The Assistant Manager Inside Sales plays a crucial role in preparing and managing cost estimates for various projects, products, or services. With a strong grasp of cost estimation methodologies and exceptional analytical skills, you will collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost projections and effective project planning. Your key responsibilities will include: Cost Estimation: - Creating detailed cost estimates for projects, encompassing labor, materials, equipment, and other expenses. - Utilizing estimation software and tools to generate precise cost projections. - Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and documentation to grasp project requirements. - Establishing and maintaining a database of cost information for future reference. Data Analysis: - Collecting and analyzing historical data to enhance the accuracy of future estimates. - Maintaining updated records of costs to ensure data integrity. - Analyzing actual costs versus estimated costs and identifying areas for enhancement. Collaboration: - Collaborating with Pre-Sales, project managers, engineers, procurement, and other stakeholders to gather essential information for cost estimation. - Participating in project planning meetings and offering insights on cost-related matters. - Assisting in the preparation of project budgets and financial plans. Reporting: - Preparing and presenting cost estimation reports to management and stakeholders. - Monitoring actual project costs against estimates and reporting any variances. - Providing recommendations for cost-saving measures and improvements. Continuous Improvement: - Staying informed about industry trends, pricing, and cost estimation methodologies. - Implementing best practices in cost estimation and project cost control. - Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of cost estimations. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in a Tech Company dealing with infrastructure cabling & networking, CCTV installations, Wi-Fi devices, fire alarm systems, access control automation, ports, and weighbridges. - Strong analytical and mathematical skills. - Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in cost estimation or project management (e.g., AACE, PMP). - Experience with industry-specific estimation software. - Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
