Job Description

Role Overview:

Assistant HR Manager

The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, hands-on recruitment experience, and the ability to align HR practices with the company's growth and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the recruitment team to ensure all manpower requirements are fulfilled within the defined TAT.
  • Handle

    end-to-end hiring

    for multiple roles including Sales, Trainers, Operations, and Corporate functions.
  • Independently source, screen, interview, and shortlist candidates for open positions across verticals.
  • Plan and execute

    monthly hiring targets

    in coordination with business heads.
  • Build and manage a strong candidate pipeline through internal databases, job portals, referrals, and social media.
  • Monitor daily hiring progress and maintain accurate hiring dashboards and reports.

2. Recruitment Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business expansion and seasonal hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast manpower requirements and create hiring calendars.
  • Ensure

    TAT-based recruitment

    is achieved consistently each month.
  • Maintain strong industry networks and relationships with placement agencies, institutes, and recruitment partners.

3. HR Operations & Team Management

  • Supervise the recruitment team's daily performance, allocate hiring tasks, and track progress.
  • Conduct weekly review meetings to ensure target achievement and process compliance.
  • Support HR initiatives such as onboarding, orientation, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between HR, Training, and Operations teams for joining formalities.

4. Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain recruitment MIS, hiring trackers, and monthly dashboards.
  • Share weekly/monthly recruitment reports with management.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies, processes, and documentation standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in

    end-to-end recruitment

    and team handling.
  • Strong

    leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle

    high-volume hiring

    within strict TAT timelines.
  • Excellent

    coordination and follow-up

    abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with job portals, LinkedIn, and Excel reporting.
  • Result-driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 36 years

    of experience in recruitment or HR management (preferably in fitness, retail, or service industry).
  • Prior experience in

    leading a recruitment team

    or managing TAT-based hiring will be preferred.
