Assistant Manager - Front Desk

**Role Overview:** As an entry-level management position at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, you will be responsible for leading and assisting in the successful completion of daily shift requirements in the front office areas, including Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk. Your main goal will be to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while achieving the operating budget. You will also assist in completing financial and administrative responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others - Coach, counsel, and encourage employees while handling their questions and concerns - Guide daily Front Desk shift operations and communicate performance expectations to employees - Manage day-to-day operations to meet customer expectations and develop specific goals and plans - Provide services that exceed customer satisfaction and retention expectations - Implement customer recognition/service programs and ensure proper supplies and uniforms for employees - Identify developmental needs of others and provide guidance and direction to subordinates - Analyze information, evaluate results, and choose the best solutions to solve problems - Perform all duties at the Front Desk as necessary and comply with loss prevention policies and procedures **Qualifications Required:** - High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area OR - 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major with no work experience required **Additional Information:** At Courtyard by Marriott, the company is dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer that values and celebrates the unique backgrounds of its associates.
