Assistant Manager

You will own the end-to-end performance and reliability of the hyperlocal supply chain. This role is crucial for managing operational execution, driving key service metrics, program managing high-volume events, and acting as the primary liaison between Operations, Product, Tech, and Design teams.

The Control Tower is the real-time nerve center for Flipkart's supply chain, ensuring maximum speed, reliability, and service. Our core function is to provide E2E visibility and control over operations. We actively monitor critical metrics (e.g., On-Time, Breach) and act as the first responder to real-time breakdowns, activating corrective 'levers' across the network. We are the key cross-functional link, program managing peak events and aligning Tech, Product, and Operations to drive proactive improvements and minimize disruptions.

• Metric Ownership: Owning key hyperlocal metrics (Customer On-time, Breach, RTO, Cancellations, CTO) and tracking supply chain health.
• Dashboards & Monitoring: Building dashboards to monitor shipment flow, pendencies, cut-off misses, and breach risks in real-time.
• Disruption Management: Building and exercising levers for new scenarios and managing real-time breakdowns (Tech/Ops/External), ensuring quick communication to stakeholders.
• Event Program Management: Leading the preparation and execution for major events such as sales.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Acting as the single point of contact for Product, Tech, Ops, and Design to manage disruptions and provide operational inputs for customer service/speed/reliability improvements.
