Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting

The Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting will support the Finance Controller in all aspects of financial statement preparation to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end accounts. This role involves working closely with the Financial Control team and other business stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting skills, a good understanding of IGAAP / IFRS, and other technical aspects of accounting. Responsibilities include leading the monthly reporting close process, preparing financial statements within given deadlines, completing statutory audits, group audits, and filing entity accounts in accordance with statutory deadlines and local laws. The Assistant Manager will also support in maintaining internal controls over financial reporting, adherence to accounting policies, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local reporting requirements for all legal entities. Furthermore, supporting the FP&A and Business Partner teams in understanding consolidation reports and other technical aspects of accounting is also a key responsibility. Key Competencies required for this role include strong financial reporting and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail with problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of experience in financial reporting, hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and have 4-5 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role.
