Job Description

As a qualified Chartered Accountant with 23 years of experience in closing books of accounts and preparing financial statements in compliance with IND AS, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of financial statements (including consolidated financials) - GL Scrutiny and preparation of monthly variance analysis (budget vs actuals) for the management - Preparation of various monthly MIS for the management/stakeholders - Liaising with internal and statutory auditors for timely closure of audit - Assisting in Board presentations To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - 2-4 years of experience in closing books of accounts and preparation of financial statements - Knowledge of IND AS is a must - Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP - An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers - Excellent communication and people skills - Retail experience will be given preference Qualifications: - Qualified CA with good Articleship exposure In addition to the above, as the ideal candidate, you should possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with people across the organization, problem-solving skills, sound judgment, integrity, dependability, a sense of urgency, and results-orientation.
