Job Description

  • Assist in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for new and existing projects.
  • Monitor and manage electrical maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Support the Technical Manager in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants for procurement and execution of electrical works.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain documentation of electrical layouts, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
  • Train and guide junior technicians and engineers as needed.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Graduate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Should hold valid electrical supervisor license issued by CEIG, Karnataka
  • Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance of electrical equipment in a Plant/Industrial set-up.
  • Proven ability to trouble shoot the control circuits in the complex electrical panels.
  • Operation and maintenance of Gas Insulated Substation, HT Generators, 66KV outdoor yards, 66/11 KV Power Transformers.
  • Hands on work experience in the use of Meggers, Thermography instruments, testing equipment s etc.
    Good conversational/ written English skills.
Mandatory Certifications:
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (as per local regulations)
