Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Hydraulic System Design Engineer

Dear Candidate, Are you passionate about designing high-performance hydraulic systems for heavy construction equipment like Soil Compactors and Tandem Rollers ? Join our team and contribute to building next-generation machines with robust and efficient hydraulic architecture. Key Responsibilities: Lead design, selection, and optimization of hydraulic systems and components including pumps, motors, valves, actuators, gearboxes, filters, hoses, and fittings . Create and interpret hydraulic schematics using Automation Studio . Collaborate with assembly lines, proto shops, and test teams for smooth hydraulic integration, installation, and troubleshooting. Support prototype builds , address PCMs (Problems and Countermeasures), and drive engineering resolutions through the ePI process . Engage in NPD (New Product Development) lifecycle, conduct technical reviews , and resolve TR actions promptly. Generate and release BOMs , 3D CAD models, hose/pipe routings, and 2D drawings using UG NX and Teamcenter . Interface with suppliers , evaluate installation/test requirements, and ensure hydraulic systems meet performance expectations. Collaborate cross-functionally with structures, electrical, engine auxiliaries, purchasing, and manufacturing teams. Apply structured root cause analysis (Why-Why, Fishbone, etc.) and assist in data acquisition & diagnostics . Qualifications & Skills: Experience in mobile hydraulic system design , preferably in construction equipment. Strong expertise in open-loop and closed-loop system design , filtration systems, hydraulic troubleshooting, and supplier coordination. Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
