Assistant Manager - Customer Operation

Role Overview: As a Contract Specialist at ReNew, your primary responsibility will be to draft and negotiate various types of agreements including PPA, SSSHA, NDAs, MOUs, Settlement Agreements, and Channel Partner Agreements with clients and counterparties. Your role will involve coordinating with internal stakeholders and counterparties to ensure alignment of legal and commercial terms. Key Responsibilities: - Advise management and business teams on contract legal aspects and dispute resolution plans, playing a pivotal role in Dispute Management. - Coordinate with the central legal team for managing pre-litigation and litigation matters, brief external counsels as needed, and maintain detailed notes on all litigation cases/matters. - Conduct legal vetting of documents such as bid documents, NDAs, PPAs, SHAs, and other business contracts and agreements. - Draft and handle legal communications, perform legal research and analysis on team queries or new regulations/laws, and support the regulatory team in preparing representations/responses against draft regulations. - Provide well-researched and sound legal advice to the team as needed to ensure compliance and successful contract negotiations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. - Prior experience in drafting and negotiating various types of agreements. - Strong understanding of legal aspects related to contracts and dispute resolution. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders effectively. - Knowledge of energy regulations and green energy initiatives is a plus.
