Assistant Manager Costing

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost sheets for RFQs, covering materials, machining cycle times, manufacturing processes, manpower, overheads, and subcontracted operations.
• Develop precise cost estimates for new products, assemblies, and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) to support timely and accurate quotation submissions.
• Conduct variance analysis between estimated and actual costs to identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Provide actionable costing data to support management decision-making.
• Assist in make-or-buy evaluations and contribute to supplier cost negotiations.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities in costing assumptions and inputs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in costing and estimation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining cycle times, and standard costing practices.
• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and costing software tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communicator with strong coordination skills to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to manage multiple RFQs and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹502,309.47 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
