Assistant Management Representative (MR)

Key Purpose of the Role:

To support and assist the management representative in quality-related matters, ensure effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System and drive compliance with product certifications, statutory requirements, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist and support the management representative for QMS and related standards, ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented and followed.

2. Ensure effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and API Q1 systems.

3. Manage product certifications such as API 6D, PED 2014/68/EU, SIL, TRCU, TSG, etc.

4. Plan, review, and monitor internal audits and coordinate external certification/customer audits.

5. Ensure timely closure of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and maintain corrective and preventive action records.

6. Coordinate Management Review Meetings (MRM) and present system performance reports to Top Management.

7. Promote awareness of customer requirements across all functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

8. Liaise with external agencies, notified bodies, and certification authorities.

9. Manage documentation control, including issuing and updating the QMS Manual.

10. Drive initiatives in lean manufacturing techniques (5S, Kaizen, TQM, TPM) to enhance quality and productivity.

11. Support initiatives in EMS, EHS etc.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Production / Metallurgical Engineering with 10+ years experience in manufacturing industry

  (OR)

  Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with 15+ years experience.
• Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and API Q1 standards.
• Awareness of global product certifications (API, PED, SIL, TRCU, TSG).

Technical Skills:

• Experience in audit planning, compliance reporting, and QMS documentation control.
• Understanding of casting & forging processes and valve testing will give an edge.
• Familiarity with special processes such as welding, painting, and heat treatment, added advantage.
