Assistant Logistics Manager

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, storing, dispatching, and shipment tracking.
• Manage inventory of 500+ SKUs using SAP S/4HANA and WMS systems to ensure accuracy and timely availability.
• Plan and optimize warehouse space, manpower, equipment, and workflows for efficient operations.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and courier services, ensuring compliance with all transport documentations.
• Ensure strict adherence to FIFO to prevent stock ageing; maintain EHS, 5S, and security standards. Manage batch handling for shelf-life sensitive materials.
• Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and physical stock verifications to maintain accuracy and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and control warehouse and logistics costs within budget; analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement; proactively resolve operational issues to minimize delays.
