• Comprehensive experience in all aspects of Indirect Taxation, including implementation, compliance, litigation, and transaction advisory.
• Thorough understanding of the latest tax laws and regulatory updates.
• Proven ability to handle tax matters with agility and ensure timely closures.
• Experience in liaising with Government Tax Departments and related authorities.
• Strong professional network with tax advisors and consultants.
• Exposure to manufacturing companies with multi-location operations across India and significant export turnover.
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage GST compliance and litigation for the Head Office and all branch locations.
• Oversee tax and financial compliance related to imports and exports.
• Identify and secure incentives or benefits from Government schemes across various avenues such as investments, exports, imports, local purchases, and both State and Central programs, including banks and financial institutions.
• Handle reporting requirements to relevant Government departments.
• Provide transaction advisory support to Sales, Purchase, Aftersales, and other business functions.
• Lead and anchor Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives within Finance Department projects.
