Designation: Assistant General Manager Finance

1. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

  • Position Title: Assistant General Manager FINANCE

  • Location: Mumbai, Andheri MIDC

  • Indicative Level: AGM

  • Function: Accounts & Finance – Group Level

  • Reports to: Group Financial

  • Team Size: 3–4

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day financial and accounting operations including general ledger, AR/AP from group of companies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
  • Monitor cash flows, working capital, and fund utilization.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Drive the annual budgeting process in collaboration with departmental heads and Directors.
  • Develop and monitor forecasts and long-term financial plans.
  • Provide variance analysis and insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Track performance against budgets and suggest corrective actions.

3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Conduct financial analysis to support key business initiatives and evaluate business performance.
  • Develop financial models and scenario planning for investment decisions, cost control, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations to Senior leadership.

4. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards (GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, etc.).
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits; ensure timely closure of audit queries.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to safeguard the organization’s assets.
