Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Front Desk Manager at Shalom Backpackers, located in Rishikesh. The Assistant Front Desk Manager will oversee front desk operations, ensure optimal guest satisfaction, and maintain a high standard of customer service. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, overseeing reservations, addressing guest inquiries and concerns, and assisting in the coordination of daily operations. The role also involves supervising front office staff to deliver an exceptional experience for all guests.


Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
  • Proficiency in receptionist duties, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and maintaining organized front desk operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • Experience with managing hotel or hostel reservations and guest booking systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, demonstrate leadership, and supervise front desk staff effectively.
  • Prior hospitality industry experience and familiarity with hospitality management software are advantageous.
  • A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
