Assistant Director, Talent and Leadership

Role Overview: As a member of the Talent Management and Leadership Development team at Prudential, you will have a key role in designing, implementing, and managing talent and leadership programs aligned with the company's strategic priorities. Your focus will be on partnering with talents and leaders across various business units to build a robust succession bench that supports the company's growth ambitions. Key Responsibilities: - Co-design and own specific talent and leadership development interventions/products to drive impact. - Stay updated on market trends and organizational changes to enhance talent and succession pipeline management. - Lead the implementation of global talent and succession initiatives to drive agreed KPIs. - Identify key development gaps for successors and collaborate with business leaders to create targeted development plans. - Facilitate talent review and development planning meetings with leaders and talents. - Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to pipeline external talents for roles with weak bench strength. - Ensure consistency and effectiveness in implementing talent management processes across the Group. Qualifications Required: - Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and expertise in talent management and succession practices. - Proficiency in consulting, change management, and design thinking for impactful changes. - Experience in psychometric assessment methodologies and delivering leadership development interventions. - Familiarity with HR technology & systems (e.g., Workday) and data. - Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels and backgrounds. - Ability to adapt to complexity and change, remaining resilient and agile. - Disciplined, rigorous, and highly organized in approach.
